Saturday 21 September - Tuesday 24 September, Chol Hamoed (work may be done if needed)**
Wednesday 25 September, Hoshana Rabba (work may be done if needed)
Thursday 26 September, Shemini Atzeres (Yomtov - light candles 18 minutes before sunset on Wednesday evening)
Friday 27 September, Simchas Torah*** (Yomtov - light candles from a flame which has been burning since the onset of the festival, after the appearance of three stars on Thursday evening)
