Sunday 4 October, 2nd day of Sukkos* (Yomtov - light candles from a flame which has been burning since the onset of the festival, after the appearance of three stars on Saturday evening)

Monday 5 October - Thursday 8 October, Chol Hamoed (work may be done if needed)**

Friday 9 October, Hoshana Rabba (work may be done if needed)

Saturday 10 October, Shemini Atzeres (Yomtov - light candles 18 minutes before sunset on Friday evening)

Sunday 11 October, Simchas Torah*** (Yomtov - light candles from a flame which has been burning since the onset of the festival, after the appearance of three stars on Saturday evening)
